White Knuckle Lures founder and owner Jared Baum is a potato and grain farmer from Ashton, Idaho, a small town near Yellowstone Park – but his real passion is big fish. Average Joe Angler doesn’t understand the addiction of catching a monster fish. Avid anglers like Jared, however, know the adrenaline rush of hooking the trophy you’ve been dreaming about. 

       That’s why Jared started hand carving lures in the spring of 2006. He tried them out on 25 to 35-pound lake trout in Flaming Gorge, Utah. The lures worked so well that he decided to share them with the fishing world, thus began White Knuckle Lures. 

       After three years of extensive research and development, Jared is ready to let you try them out. If you use White Knuckle Lures in the right application at the right time, they are deadly. To ensure quality, Jared still hand makes every lure, so be patient if the model you love is out of stock – he’s making them as fast as he can. The labor involved in a solid wood, double jointed, hand made and hand painted lure is astounding. It’s all worth it when you see the unique action and the durability of a well-built lure.
